I am from Chasiv Yar, and I have three children: a daughter who is a university student and two sons, aged 8 and 4. Because of the war, we lost our home. My parents, who are pensioners, also fled Lysychansk due to the occupation of the city.My mother has cancer — lymphoma. She has already undergone eight chemotherapy sessions and will go for her ninth on December 16.We all live together in a village, and I earn some income by baking pastries to order, but it’s not enough. Our financial resources are very limited, so I kindly ask for your help.
My son has a disability: cerebral palsy (CP) and epilepsy — he is severely ill and bedridden. Due to his condition, I cannot work, as he requires constant care. We are a family of internally displaced persons (IDPs): a retired grandmother who suffers from diabetes, my 11-year-old son, and me. We were forced to leave our home in Sievierodonetsk and now live in Dnipro, where we rent an apartment.I strive to provide my son with a decent life and support my mother’s health, but I lack sufficient funds for the medications and specialized nutrition my child needs.
My 7-year-old son has cerebral palsy; he cannot walk and is blind. I am raising him on my own since my husband passed away before our son was born. In 2022, due to the war, I lost my home in Lyman, Donetsk region, and had to move to Sumy region, to the town of Lebedyn, where I am renting a house. Firewood is needed for heating, but I cannot afford it. It is terrifying to imagine how we will survive the winter... I ask for help.
I live in Kostyantynivka, in the frontline zone. The hardest blow for me was losing my 35-year-old son in 2022. I am very ill: I have a Group 3 disability, arthritis, and diabetes. I also have joint problems, difficulty moving due to being overweight, and recently doctors discovered ischemia with fluid accumulating in my lungs. I live on a disability pension of 3,000 UAH. I am only 59 years old, and I really want to keep living, but under these conditions, I just don’t know how.
I am 75 years old and live with type 2 diabetes. Due to complications, my foot has started to decay. I spent the last month in the hospital, spent a lot of money, but there has been no improvement. My foot hurts, and I need to be hospitalized again. Because of the wound on my foot, all my shoes have become unusable. I am in urgent need of winter shoes, size 41, for a wide foot.
I was forced to leave Donetsk Oblast with my two grandchildren (ages 6 and 17). Our town, Novohrodivka, was occupied, and our house burned down with all our belongings and furniture, while our apartment was damaged. The children’s parents are missing. We are currently living in a rented apartment in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, without heating and on the first floor. We live very modestly, and there isn’t enough money for even the most basic things.
