I survived Mariupol. My youngest son is 10 years old. He and I lived in the basement for two months. We saw everything... Our house had two direct hits, it was destroyed. We were afraid to leave the city for a long time, we were waiting for volunteers. We were able to leave the city in August 2022. Now we live in Svitlovodsk, Kirovohrad region.

My eldest son is our hero, the defender of Mariupol. He is a border guard. He is 24 years old. He was at Azovstal from the beginning. He and his brothers for weapon said that would stay there until the end. In May, the president received an order to leave Azovstal. They left on May 17 and were all taken prisoner. What is with him now - I do not know. I have a message from the Border guard that my son is in captivity. I wrote letters to the Security Service and the Ministry of Defense - I did not receive an answer.

Before the war, I worked as a trolley bus conductor. I had a severe case of the flu and after that I started to lose my vision in one eye. A few months of living in the basement worsened this situation, I can't see at all in one eye and the vision in the other has started to fail. Doctors advise me to go to Odessa for treatment, but I don't have the money for it. The younger son has developmental disabilities, he is even afraid to stay at home alone. He also needs treatment. I don't have the money for it.
