From her home in Toretsk, Lilya was able to take only two cats and a small package of belongings. Her only remaining family is her mother, who is seriously ill with diabetes. After giving birth, Lilia's teeth began to fall out, but she is very happy about her child. She has no education, but she wants to sort out her life to provide a decent future for her child. Before this unexpected pregnancy, she was sure she was infertile, had a lot of chronic reproductive diseases and a tumor in her breast. Therefore, when she realized she was pregnant in the second month of her pregnancy, she burst into tears of joy and received the resources to survive the realities of war on her own.
